INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENTS OF VIRGINIA

The Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia had more than outgrown their existing building and decided to expand in order to gain additional office space, a larger training center, and a more appealing entry and reception area. We designed the addition by mirroring the existing building with a new structure of equal size, and designed a central reception area to connect both buildings. The entire building now totals approximately 10,000 sq. ft. The new building consists of a training room equipped with state of the art audio/visual equipment, a kitchen/break-room, toilet rooms, offices and storage space. The arched brick front is a great improvement over the original entry, and the new reception area is warm, inviting and large enough for informal business gatherings. The existing structure was renovated to upgrade the Boardroom, offices, toilet rooms and kitchenette, and several walls were removed to create a large open space for employee workstations.
