FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH MASTERPLAN

The Master Plan for Phase I of the First Baptist Church expansion was to incorporate a feasible flow of structures into a small half-block urban setting located on a prominent busy street in Waynesboro, Virginia. The overall plan included the addition of a new 18,000 sq. ft. Multi-purpose structure and connector from the existing main corner Sanctuary, and a existing two-story residential building that would accommodate their growth and outreach. We designed a lateral layout for the new plan that would also include the increased parking needed. Phase II of the project would include the purchase of adjacent properties for all future expansion.
